J Reserve is dining with a twist, offering a fabulous selection of tasty things to eat and drink, all in a stylish relaxed environment...

When people walk in to J Reserve they are hard pushed not to be impressed by what you see. J Reserve is about offering up something a little different, a stylish bistro cafe emporium is a good way to describe it.

Since opening Cafe J in 2010, owner Julie Mountain has gained an understanding about what people want when they go out for something to eat. ‘It comes down to a simplicity, serve good food in a nice environment, with a great service’. For J Reserve Julie has stuck to this principle.

‘We have invested in creating a wonderful place and much energy went into the decor and the atmosphere of the space’. Next on Julie’s list was bringing in an established and talented chef to create some dishes and plates with a twist, something different where the customer can relish the food placed in front of them, along with combinations of quality ingredients and tasty flavours.

The key at J Reserve is – great customer service, and for this Julie drafted in a great team led by Dawn and Emily, who along with Julie have worked to create – that ‘lets go back there’ experience.

Please be advised we close the kitchen for lunch during the week around 2pm. We will stay open for coffee/cake/wine until the footfall decreases, so may close earlier than stated.

Deposits, Cancellations, Gratuities and Other Information

We may ask you for a deposit for your table/party upon a reservation, this will be taken off your final bill. Late cancellations and no shows are damaging to any business and upsetting for other guests who may have missed an opportunity to dine with us.

TABLE BOOKING (for 4 or more guests OR Special Lunches i.e Sunday Lunch, at £5pp) – Table cancellation 1 week before, full deposit returned. Half of the deposit returned thereafter. Deposit non refundable with less than 24 hours notice. Table booking can be transferred to another day.

PRIVATE PARTY/CHEFS NIGHT – 10 days before function, 50% deposit returned. No refund after this time. Full balance required 2 weeks before function.

CHRISTMAS DAY/NEW YEARS – 1^st December to 14^th December 50% deposit returned. 15^th December onwards non refundable. Full balance required 1^st December.

An optional 10% Gratuity will be added to your final bill on the day.

We do not allow Smoking of Cigarettes or E-Cigarettes/Vapes inside OR outside our restaurant. Thank you for your cooperation.
